Drink Like a Champion.

Once you stepped into Lansdowne Road, you were expected to drink like a champion, as the motto went. With an expanded draft list and pub food built to keep you steady — especially the wings — most regulars had no problem living up to it.

Named after Dublin’s famous rugby stadium, this Irish pub became a Hell’s Kitchen staple with 12 flat-screens, 14 beers on tap, and the kind of burgers-and-wings menu that made game day feel like home.

The vibe

Cozy, loud, familiar

The kind of spot you walk into and immediately know where to stand, who’s watching what, and what to order.

The staples

Drafts + wings

A deep tap list and wings that got talked about like they were a borough rivalry.

Game day

Always on somewhere

Twelve TVs meant you could catch what you came for without fighting the whole bar for a sightline.

A Hell’s Kitchen Original

Right on the block with the flags out front and the windows open, Lansdowne Road felt like a neighborhood living room. Guinness signs glowing, the game on, and a steady stream of locals sliding through.

This site is a simple memory page — a way to keep the vibe, the stories, and the Hell’s Kitchen energy in one place.

Lansdowne Road Memories

I lived 2 blocks away from Lansdowne for a decade. My family and I love that place. We had so much fun and countless great memories there. I watched the Giants win the Super Bowl there! 🙌🏼 My dad & I have our names on the wall for completing the whiskey challenge. The buffalo wings were some of the best in the tri state area. These are only a few of the reasons why it will always be one of my favorite places in the city. You will be missed dearly.
